Paper Pattern:
1. IES 2014 exam will consist of two parts i.e. written test of 1000 marks and interview of 200 marks.
2. Out of 1000 marks, 600 marks are allotted to objective type questions whereas 400 marks are allotted to conventional test.
5. There will be negative marking for each incorrect response.
6. For each wrong answer, 1/3rd of the total mark allotted to the question will be deducted.

4. Next, there will be two objective technical papers, followed by two conventional technical papers.5. There will be negative marking for each incorrect response.
